Three young musicians rehearse Antonín Dvořák's "Dumky" trio. Although they are not actors, they lend themselves to the theatrical game to reveal to us what is usually invisible: what the music is made of before the moment of the concert.
Realistic improvised scenes and introspective questioning take us to the heart of the score and their inner world. Trio for piano and strings No. 4 is first heard in a deconstructed and fragmented form, creating a strange musical "suspense". At the end of this singular journey, the concert can begin.
