Autour du Soleil | Two musicians on stage, piano and cello. Pierre is an inventive, surprising and free musician: he can caress his instrument, lyrical and gentle, or rough it up, wild and chaotic. Arthur on piano, keyboards, guitar, vocals, poetry and trance. Between acoustic and technology, the two musicians will try to invent creative live music while reinventing the classics. First the old, familiar, warm acoustic sound, then the infinite processing of new technologies. Pierre samples, loops, manipulates and transforms. Arthur modifies, opens up and expands.
Always in a low-tech spirit, à la Méliès, everything can be seen and invented in the moment, the gesture is musical, analogue is the future. To tell the stories of today, so that technology doesn't turn us into robots. The human controls the machine, not the other way round. In spontaneity, in the moment, there is freedom, the suspension of time, listening. And play, the pleasure of venturing into play, the joy of energy.
