Pas de souci

In the not-too-distant future, two long-standing friends have rented a Mif-Müf hall, a popular Nordic sport, for an hour. Over the course of the game, they tell each other unspoken truths, as only friends know how to hurt each other's feelings, in good faith. Pas de souci is a growing conflict, an escalation, a spiral, where egos clash to the point of grotesqueness, in an absurd dance of human beasts in crisis.
Pas de souci is a dialogue between two characters in a situation. There's no direct narrative here ("Once upon a time there was this, this happened to me"), but a situation we witness in the present, between two people interacting before our very eyes. By aiming to conduct an hour-long conflict, we draw on all the dynamics that make up conflict: bad faith, resentment, low blows, personal attacks, insults, manipulation, ambushes, physical violence, harassment, obsession with detail, attempts at consensus, diplomacy, reconciliation, etc.
