Le Moulin de L'O - L'Orle Rose

This gîte sleeps a maximum of 3 people and has a bright living room, two bedrooms, a shower room and a fully equipped kitchen.
Enjoy a fully-equipped kitchen with brand new appliances: fridge, dishwasher, oven, ceramic hob, microwave, kitchen utensils, plates, cups and utensils... You can enjoy making your coffee while admiring the Armançon river, thanks to the kitchen window overlooking the spillway.
The bright living room has unique seating, carefully renovated by a local craftsman into original and unique creations.
The gîte has two separate bedrooms: a double room with a 160 x 200 bed, and a single room with a 112 x 190 bed. The double room overlooks the river, where you can fall asleep to the sound of lapping water.
Just outside the living room, the terrace with outdoor dining table and relaxation area (2 deckchairs) is absolutely unique in the centre of Semur en Auxois: it allows guests to enjoy breakfast, lunch, dinner or... a glass of delicious Burgundy red wine, in complete privacy, surrounded by plants and flowers and overlooking the Armançon river.
At your disposal: very high-speed internet with Wifi 6, freshly laundered sheets and towels for all travellers, bath towels, as well as all consumables, including coffee, tea, washing-up liquid and much more. A special note: we'll leave you a donkey's milk soap, made just for you by a local craftsman.
The property extends over three hectares: enjoy a sunny afternoon on our huge peninsula: a haven of peace where you'll have plenty of places to relax (swing, hammock for two, stone bench and small table). Here you can enjoy the fresh air and take some unique photos.
Due to the proximity of the river, we do not accept children under the age of 13 who cannot swim.
The gîte is in a restricted traffic area: we have a private driveway which can accommodate 3 cars. Parking is provided directly in front of the house.

The historic capital of the Auxois region, Semur en Auxois is a town of almost 4,500 inhabitants that offers a real journey back in time through its narrow streets and emblematic monuments. The Collegiate Church, the Donjon and its fortifications are all very interesting places to visit: given the location of the gite, you can reach all the town's places of interest on foot, with no need to use the car.
We also have bicycles at your disposal, free of charge, so that you can explore all the artistic and gastronomic delights that our town has to offer, or go to the Lac de Pont. At the lake, you can enjoy the beach, water-skiing in season, pedalos or take a 13 km walk around the lake.
Semur en Auxois is 8 km from the A6 motorway (exit 23) and is halfway between Paris and Lyon. Montbard railway station is 15 kilometres away (TGV Paris-Montbard 1 hour), with bus or taxi connections and a bus stop 5 minutes away.
