The Roman army returns to Alesia! Outside of battle, the days of Julius Caesar's soldiers were fast-paced and left little time for rest...
Over the course of a weekend, the Ave Bagacum, Pax Augusta and Lorica Romana re-enactment troupes offer you a chance to immerse yourself in the day-to-day life of the Roman army. On the programme: battle tactics and manoeuvres, archers' drill, religious ceremonies, meal preparation, equipment maintenance and testing of war machines.
Included in the admission ticket.
