Apothicairerie et Hospice du XVIIème
The Monsieur Vincent association in Moutiers-Saint-Jean in the Côte-d'Or invites you to discover the Hôpital Saint Sauveur and its apothecary in its original state, with more than 220 jars, chests, cannons, pillboxes and ewers. There is also a collection of pewter tableware, a herb garden and a chapel. Then, let yourself be guided to the church of Saint Paul, which has dominated the village since the 11th century, to see its statues from the 15th-century Burgundian school and its stained glass windows in a flamboyant style dedicated to Catherine Labouré. Along the way, you can admire the garden created by Jean Coeurderoy in the 17th century, with its fascinating Baroque buildings and the old fortifications of the Bourg. An exceptional heritage to discover in Auxois, in the heart of Burgundy.
